approach source expertise (also known by its acronym OSINT) is a multifactorial methodology (qualitative and quantitative) for collecting, analyzing and using decisions. on data from publicly manageable sources to be used in an expertise context.1 In the penetration community, the term open refers to publicly user-friendly sources, in the prudence of as opposed to ordinary or clandestine sources. It is not aligned to free software or edit source software or entire sum intelligence.

OSINT sources can be estranged into six categories of information flows: 2
Media: newspapers, magazines, radio stations and television networks;
Internet: online articles, blogs, exposure forums, citizen media (such as videos recorded behind mobile phones and content created by users), YouTube and social networks (such as Facebook, Twitter or Instagram).
